Couples Therapy

In couples therapy, I provide a safe, confidential space for partners to explore challenges within their relationship. I can support you in understanding patterns of communication, addressing conflict, and reconnecting with one another in a more meaningful way. Together, we can work towards greater clarity, empathy, and emotional connection.

My approach to couples therapy

I use the psychodynamic approach to couples therapy which focuses on understanding the emotional patterns and unconscious dynamics that shape how partners relate to one another.

By exploring how past experiences, attachment styles, and early relationships influence the present, we can help you to make sense of recurring difficulties, emotional reactions, and communication patterns.

I also draw on theory and practice from other approaches, including attachment theory and the Gottman method, to support emotional connection, improve communication, and strengthen the relationship in practical and meaningful ways.
